I don't buy into the "change the system" narrative. Don't get me wrong; there is no perfect system, and of course it needs to change one way or another, because if it doesn't change then the system would die and left us without a structure to live. But I don't buy the following thing: Me: I'm suffering and I need help Another person: Your claims/actions/thoughts don't help to change the system and you should focus on it to have a better life. No, I don't buy it and buying it, for me, is the capital admision that my life is an entire failure. If I can't convince my family or a stranger on the street that they should care about me and my condition, what makes you think that I can change the minds of millions of people and make them change their whole way their lifes work?
